Monitoring
We’ve developed a proactive server monitoring service that monitors the critical components within your server environment and reports information back to our technical team in fifteen minute increments.
Daily Checks
- Anti-Virus Update Check. Enables us to act swiftly to ensure that you remain safe from attack. Fewer virus infestations and less consequent downtime and hassle. You can focus on your business – not your viruses.
- Backup Complete Check. Ensures you have an up-to-date backup. Keeps your business safe. Avoids situations where a disaster (disk crash etc.) turns into a business-threatening catastrophe. You’ll know your data is safe.
- Drive Space Consumption Check. Enables us to spot problems as they develop and act before the resulting system crash. Enables us to act on the root cause (the reason why their disk is filling) rather than dealing with the resulting symptom (a crash).
- Critical Events Check. Helps us spot developing problems and act before they become serious impediments to business. Greater uptime and less systems hassle.
- Microsoft Exchange Check. Avoids Information Store crashing into the pre-set limit on SBS servers.
- Security Check. Safer systems. More uptime due to fewer successful hack attempts.
- Physical Disk Check. We will be able to act before a crash happens. You have less disruption, greater uptime and can focus on business – not systems.
24×7 Live Monitoring
- Windows Services Checks. Faster response to problems. We’ll get an alert in 7.5 or 2.5 minutes on average (for 15 minute and 5 minute checks respectively) so we can begin to act fast. More uptime, less user frustration.
- Disk Space Check. Can act to pre-empt downtime caused by full disks. You benefit from less interruptions and more uptime.
- PING Checks. Faster response to network problems means more uptime. Can also determine if remote offices are available
- TCP Service Check. Ensures we are alerted whenever ISP services fail so we can act fast to get them re-connected. Enables us to ensure specified ports are closed, and thus to keep your systems secure.
- Website Check. Improved website uptime and consequent increase in sales or customer service.
- SNMP Check / RAID Array Check. Helps us deal with developing problems so we can deal with them immediately and maximise uptime. You’ll know that any problem recorded in the SNMP Check will be promptly dealt with.
- Heartbeat. Ensures we are notified if a server has completely crashed or if comm’s has been completely lost so we can respond promptly and get you back into service. Provides 24-hour cover so that we can respond
Reporting
- You can receive a daily or weekly report of the results of your Daily Check.
- You can also receive a Monthly Client Report providing comprehensive details of the cause of outages, disk growth rates, Exchange growth rates and more.
